About the soaps

Hi y'all , Im Deb & founder of

Butler Cottage Soap Co.

Im a cattle & sheep farmer & live on a farm in the South West of Western Australia.

Mum to 4 gorgeous daughters & wife to a hardworking farmer also.

Making my own handmade soap came about when my girls were little ones & I wanted to create a chemical free cottage.

So I bought a soap making kit & ended up with 30 bars of soap in the kitchen of our 100 year old farm cottage, with the excess I sold at our general store & they sold like hotcakes.

That then began my passion for making affordable, natural soaps for all to enjoy, rather than using harsh store bought chemical laden soap.

About the soaps

At Butler Cottage all products are handcrafted in a purpose built soap kitchen on our farm,

Bolinda Vale, Keysbrook in

Western Australia

All the soaps are made by the cold process method in small batches

then are hand cut & cured for a minimum 4 weeks, minimally packaged in a recyclable paper label, less packaging, less land fill, happy environment.

Our soaps will last longer & love being kept dry between uses.

All the soaps, balms & other products are tested on the family, so no animal testing ever

Made with lots of Love

I do my very best to Support Locally Grown when it comes to sourcing oils & botonicals for my handmade soap making.

All herbs in my soaps are handpicked from my cottage garden by myself or the farmkids & dried in my soapery.
